Completed in February 2013, this new care home comprises 84 luxury bedrooms together with state-of-the-art faciliities.

The care home also features a shop, hair-dressing salon, cafe and library. The landscaping has been carefully designed to enhance the residents' quality of life, offering a communal, sensory and herbal garden with a large water feature.

Further design aspects include the installation of PV solar panels and a CHP unit which helped achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating.

The Guards Polo Club, Windsor Great Park, Egham, Surrey

The Guards Polo Club, SurreyLocated within the Windsor Great Park, the Guards Polo Club was founded in 1955 with the HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh as President.

In the spring of 2009 the Club underwent a major expansion plan following the installation of sliding, folding doors to divide the bar and restaurant area.

Stratford HaloThe Stratford Halo scheme, located at the approach to the 2012 Olympic Games site, will provide over 700 homes. The project includes five new residential blocks, one of which will be the highest residential tower in London.

Sustainable elements within the scheme include: CHP plant, biomass boilers, rain-water harvesting and green and brown roofs. Also water-saving sanitaryware, together with considerable areas of water attenuation on the 1.3 hectare Thames-side site.

The Water Tower, Harrietsham, Kent

Work has begun on converting the water tower to a private dwelling with an additional ground floor extension. The site, situated on the North Downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty, was auctioned with full planning permission back in July 2012. Clague is the architect involved in this very unusual project and BBS is providing Building Control services.
